Apple Event on the 12th
Yes sir. The time has come for "iPhone 5" I'm sure many of you are following this as well. Previous releases allow pre orders just a couple days after the Apple events so this year should be no exception. I'm guessing it should be available on the 14th at 6pm for pre order and then available in stores on the 21st because those are the black out dates that employees have from AT&T, Apple, Verizon, and Sprint.
I'll be getting the biggest and most badass one like I always do. I have the 64GB 4S currently with carbon fiber back:tup: Each year the camera usually gets better which means it requires more storage space for photos and I take a lot. My 64GB is full, believe it or not. I have to delete stuff all the time to make room. http://cdn.macrumors.com/article-new...dia_invite.jpg Did you see the "5" in the shadow? http://cdn.macrumors.com/article-new..._5_vgooo_1.jpg http://cdn.macrumors.com/article-new...comparison.jpg http://cdn.macrumors.com/article-new...comparison.jpg |

Yes, I might be upgrading to an iPhone, but I don't have an iPhone currently, so your poll kind of sucks..the Lumia 920 looks pretty awesome as well, and I'm also going to see what the next Google Nexus phone will be. Competition FTW! |
i hope there going to have it for friday delivery, they keep pushing up there media to launch times....
ahhh instant gratification hahaha |
Yep. I usually use appleinsider.com
....but I'm bringing news to the Z community |

I had so much fun for the iPhone 4 launch. Since I got mine on a thursday, thanks to FedEx F-up:tup:, I was able to be the d-bag showing it off to every one camping at the Apple Store that night waiting for the real iPhone 4 release lol |
I love my S3 DROID!!!!!
I think it will just be bigger version of the 4 and with very few features. Than you will have people crying that how will people know I upgraded. I for one love being different and been with android for years will never go to apple now. So locked down. |

Yeah each one has its pros and cons obviously.
I like being able to purchase almost any device in stores whether it be a printer, smart tv, alarm clock, stereo, or whatever and they're always "iPhone compatible". Theres too many android versions out there that its not financially beneficial for companies to fabricate all kinds of docks and such for them. The iPhones change once per year and a universal dock give them a HUGE advantage, plus it just works well for me. I surf online and take lots of pics. I don't even use the apps really.... People talk about about being locked down by Apple, I've never asked/wanted anything else from the iPhone. I don't see a need to be jail broken or anything. Oh well. To each their own. Not sure how I feel about this new dock connector yet..... smaller is nice. (Less lint gets in there from my pocket, more room for better speakers or larger battery..) |
^ I agree... the iPhone is the biggest and baddest of the smart phones but you can absolutely count on it working and a huge selection of apps. The first app everyone builds is for the iPhone.

If the rumors come out to be true, I want to hear Apple's justification on taller screen first. I have been an iPhone user since 3G. If I am not satisified with the new one, I am thinking of switching to Galaxy S3.

Android is an amazing accomplishment especially with Jelly Bean but it still lacks a lot of polish compared to iOS and third party support is just catching up as well as enterprise features.
I've loved the 4 and unusually haven't jailbroken this one so think the 5 will be a good improvement for me. |
ios users really don't have a clue what they're missing until they actually buy an android. I've had multiple friends finally make the switch and they love it. I used apple iphone from the beginning till the 4 and just got tired of the limit on the os and tiny screen. I've upgraded on Android over the years since and now have an HTC one x. Amazing phone. I grab my buddies iphone and have to squint to see anything lol. Yes we were just fine when it first came out but once you get a 4.5 inch screen it is a night and day difference. I think apple is finally upping the screen size on this one....to 4 inches. Not much but slightly better than the 3.6 or whatever it is now.

I use my iPhone as the storage medium for music in my car. I have a Pioneer AVH-P4400BH. Can I plug an Android into it? Yep, I sure can. Can I use the Pandora functionality? Nope, doesn't work on Android... wired playback of my MP3 collection... doesn't work on Android... App Mode... doesn't work on Android. Telling everyone they are just uninformed because they have an iPhone and not an Android is just ignorant. It's like me telling you to sell your Z and buy a truck because you can't haul lumber in your Z like I do my truck. Well, some people just don't give a rats a$$ about hauling lumber. :) |
I cant afford that damn sh1t...:bowrofl::bowrofl:
