Yea I'm not too keen on leaving my family, but I hate NJ. I'd probably have to locate near a suburb of Dallas, or anywhere where there's an affluent community. Not that I'm affluent, but my clients generally are. Though I'd go to most/all of the Rangers-Yankees and Giants-Cowboys games, I'd really miss my NJ Devils. Could do satelite and all but I've had season tix for 15 years. Small price to pay I suppose for a completely different lifestyle and community.

I'm a socially liberal, fiscally conservative, 2A supporting 'til the day I die mess of an independent. Virginia seems to work pretty well for me. NOVA is fairly liberal but the state is very 2A friendly (right to carry open, shall issue concealed permits) and even everyone in NOVA respects that for the most part.

I do recommend against OCing in, say, Alexandria. You will likely spend a night in jail while they clear things up. |

I think OC should be fine in FFX, Prince William, etc... the less uber lib hipster places.

I know a lot of people who have OC'd all through NOVA without incident, but you just never know. I've heard of a handful of cases were things got out of hand, and it would just suck to be in one of those situations. |

I think every citizen should carry a sidearm and an M4 or similar in their vehicle. If some terrorists ever try to pull some of that Mumbai crap here it wouldn't last for long!
