I only have 50 rounds though it but it was flawless.

For Summer carry The .380 is so small I hardly notice it.
Perfect with just a T-shirt.

I was considering the Ruger LCP but I liked the feel of the BodyGuard better.
Plus I like that the slide locks open after the last round, many of the .380's don't.

Also the sights are better than most .380's...
they are adjustable and not the little nubs you see on many of the mouse guns.

The Built in Laser is a nice extra too.
I'd recommend it for sure.
Not to get in a ballistics battle, but I was looking at getting my wife a bodyguard. Do you feel there's enough stopping power? Honest question, not trolling. I really do like the size of the gun and the fact it has a built in laser.

.380ACP is a compromise for sure. Can she not handle/is not willing to train with the 9mm?

If you must go .380, I recommend loading it with Corbon DPX.

I'm not a fan of the .380 per say... but the .380 serves a purpose for me.
The Bodyguard holds 6 +1, I carry +P Rounds.

I do carry bigger calibers but when its 105 degree outside the .380 is perfect. T-shirt and shorts and it doesn't print.

saying that...
.380 will make you just as dead as any round.
Its all about shot placement anyway. I will say you must practice at the range with your carry pistol. The small pistols can be difficult to be accurate with.

To me that's the biggest concern about a small gun. Not the caliber size but the accuracy. These pocket guns have a long trigger pulls for safety making accuracy difficult. Also remember these guns are made for up close and personal defense. If things get crazy grab the AR

Good Luck.

I have a little addiction to H&K. Here's the ones i've taken pics of. If you click on the pic and then click on it again when Flickr opens up, you'll get the high rez pic.
