If I recall correctly the gun comes with a bore brush doesn't it? Just buy a solvent, some cleaning patches or cut up some of your own and gun oil and presto, you've got your cleaning kit.

here's what the repair shop did to my gun...some of it is kinda jibberish to me lol anyone care to explain?
"they drilled & pinned the ejector, refit the extractor, reamed the barrel & polished the feed ramp. It was test fired without any problems using the magazines sent with the handgun." |

Apparently your gun was having cycling problems. They took a broad approach by making sure the ejector and extractor were up to snuff so that shell ejection would be appropriate, then they made sure that chambering new rounds was optimal by addressing the feed ramp and by making sure the barrel's chamber was appropriately sized. The fact that they tried to cover all the bases without identifying one exact problem is concerning. One has to wonder if that's because of a bad design of the weapon, or if it's part of their value-added custom shop operations. If I buy a gun, I buy one that doesn't need to have the ejector, extractor, chamber and feed ramps fixed after the sale in order for it to function correctly. Not exactly confidence-inspiring. I'd be wondering what the problem with the gun actually was. |

For what pistol?
If 1911, try looking at 1911 Pistol Grips . I'm pretty indifferent to the 1911 myself, but I have a buddy that's a fanatic and he has several pairs of grips from VZ. |
