That ain't the way I read PC 30.06. Those "No Gun" signs in Texas constitute legal notification for the purpose of trespass (unlike Minnesota). According to the Texas Penal Code (PC 30.06), they can not only ask you to leave, they can have you arrested for trespass. Such trespass is only a class A misdemeanor, but it's worth noting that a class A misdemeanor on your record makes you ineligible for a concealed handgun permit in Texas. If you carry a gun in a "No guns" posted establishment in Texas, you run the risk of subsequently being ineligible to carry one. Like I said...seems pretty restrictive to me, at least by comparison to what I'm familiar with. You can find a good review of Texas concealed handgun laws at http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/Interne...rms/CHL-16.pdf ![]() Quote:

No guns signs are very helpful at reducing crime.

I still want a Kel-Tec PF9 in tan. Don't know why because it's cheap and may or may not work.

I've been following it for almost two years now. From what I can tell the first run was the most problematic... almost every one required some sort of "fluff and buff" before they would feed reliably.
Seems like the recent runs are pretty good, though still a little finicky with some ammo. For only $250 it's something I'd like to get just to toy around with and see if it works. I do like the idea. The only other gun of similar size is the Kahr CM9. More reliable with better build quality, but still won't feed everything. I want to like the PPS, but it's a little too long and a little too tall. Though maybe I'll just get a PPK!

Checked out the PF9 again. I like the size, I like the price.
But it's cheap as hell and the trigger is gritty, no feel, no consistency in the "break." Next. Kahr CM9... yes please. Love the size, love the look, love the build quality. Very tight when new. I'm sure it'll loosen some (that's what she said). The trigger also feels great. Super smooth with a nice clean break. ![]() It's significantly shorter and slimmer than my Glock 26, which means it'll be ideal for hot summer carry. Going to a local shop that's open today to inquire about ordering/price. It's $399 from Buds but if I can get it locally I'll avoid the FFL transfer fee and support a local shop... which is very important in NOVA as they are few and far between!

As great as it is, I might be selling the CM9 soon, just picked up a S&W Shield (to complement the M&P9c that I already have). BTW, Kahr isn't joking about the 200 to 300 round break-in period. By that I mean during the first few hundred rounds it didn't want to lock the slide back on the final round of the magazine. It's been flawless since.
