So since food critics use fake names most of the time to avoid the harassment, we shouldn't trust their opinions?

Also, not everywhere is San Diego. Some of us live in places small enough to where we have to do business with the owners, family, friends, etc. of places we don't like.

That's a false argument and you know it. There is a difference between giving one person your name and posting it on the internet where everyone can read it.

You seem to be arguing that just using your name, which for many is not unique in any way, is giving away the store. That is where we completely disagree then. There is no all or nothing here. Anyone can find me on facebook, but only my friends can see my plan for world domination.
