Same here. I most likely will leave as is because 1. It's under the car, you'll never see it sans oil changes. 2. It will get road grime, rocks, dirt, etc, etc, all over it just scratching off any paint/coating you put on it.

However if you were adamant on getting it done, if you went with a solid color, you're looking at between $50-75 to do it. So it's not really expensive, but still..
