I went and looked at Mustangs on Monday. The same snot green Boss 302 they had on the dealer from months earlier, they were now trying to get a 20k markup on. I laughed hysterically when I saw it in the showroom. Told the sales chick flat out, "I would never pay this, because the vehicle simply isn't worth this." She said that they might be able to negotiate a deal. I said, "Unless it's MSRP or lower, don't even fukking bother."

after careful review of my options, it appears that i would only receive partial ownership of shado's package. this is absolutely unacceptable, and i find it a disgrace that negotiations have started so low for someone of my OG status.

I'd say put some cash down to put a hold on it for yourself, that is refundable if you change your mind. And go home and think it over. If it's what you want, go back/buy. If you want something else, get your money back.

I don't know what you were looking to pay. Maybe that's got some options you didn't want/need...

It's a tough choice. If you pull the trigger on more than you expected to pay, you may regret it later. If you don't pull the trigger and this one gets away, will you regret it now?

That looks absolutely :yum: price is a bit too high for a "Stang" but for the performance You get its about right. Cheaper than gtr,911, c63amg black, etc.

At least you can tell there are stripes on the car. I have a lot of trouble seeing the stripes on the "Carbon Flash Metallic" paint job on the 100th anniv Chevy Corvettes. I assure you that they are there, though.

Sexy or not, it's an obvious collector car. A car released with the sole purpose of being stashed away in some rich cat's garage and never driven. I dislike that premise. I mean, the Lambo Reventon was similar, and so was the Nismo Juke that had the GTR engine. I favor cars that were meant to be driven, not stashed away as "investment vehicles."

Obvious collectors car or not, if it somehow managed to end up in my garage, it would be driven. Not as a daily, but it would see the road where it's born to be, not in a clean room.:driving:
