Have you talked to Lou Fusz on the forum? I'm surprised he can't hook you up...

Act I'm not in Texas anymore. I'm in KS. And I've only found 1 available allocation and the dealer wanted $5k over MSRP. Another is sitting about an hour away and they want $10k over invoice for a total of $70k.

Most just don't have the allocations.

The370z Useless Thread Part IV

Any further OFF TOPIC post will be removed followed by a PM warning.

Thanks Everyone

Don't know how to post link.

Then what thread is it in regards to?

All they're trying to do is keep a thread based on the Topic of what it's created for. We have 'conversation' threads already for both the OG's and the Base members.

Oh that's right. Well Fusz is right next door in St. Louis if you ever fancy a trip that way... I'd say still wouldn't hurt to give him a call, he may not have one, but he might be able to point you in a direction of a decent dealer.

Those prices are ridiculous, but I think the allocation bit is your primary hindrance. Is the Roush Stage 3 worth it, or would you feel like you settled?

Differences?

The Roush stage3 is a Mustang GT with all 3 Roush packages

Stage 1 body kit and badging

Stage 2 handling package

Stage 3 Power package w/ Super Charger

The price goes from around $50k to $60k depending on how optioned the GT was to begin with.

It would compete better with the 2012 GT500 but not the 2013. My other option would be buy a GT 5.0 and build it the way I want it. In the end a Roush still has a GT VIN number.

So if you had to rank those options in terms of what you want to what you'd accept...

1. GT500
2. Stage 3 Roush
3. 5.0 built your way?

Are the Boss302 or Laguna Seca editions even on the table, or are those worthless? (I'm not a mustang gearhead, so forgive me if that's a dumb question)

As if to suggest perhaps one is better than the other? Geez, you're not an elitist or anything are you? ;)

SUBD due to the spanking that the mods felt necessary to bestow upon that other thread. :shakes head:

LoL No, I'm not. I'm just denoting that we have 2 different types of memberships, both have their places for chit chat.

It wasn't a spanking to request a thread be on topic. Same as the 500 other threads that get requested to be on topic in any given month. I don't see the point in being upset over it...

Fire 08-14-2012 07:35 PM

LOL
Anywho.

I agree, the other thread did get off topic...but I did so enjoy it. So be it.

Well there you go. But sometimes they just need to be redirected. That's all.

happytheman 08-14-2012 07:39 PM

We'll see how it goes.

5k post dedication! :woot:
