seriously, screw markup. It's all overhead. If you really want a bargain, you may have to wait for winter. That usually convinces salesman that the 500+ hp RWD slip 'n' slide out front isn't going to move unless they come down.

Because these dealers only get some many allocations they seem to feel that they can sell them for anything they want. The second place didn't even bother taking my info, so no calls.

What Gets me was that there allocation wasn't even being built yet so they could have changed the order to anything I wanted. Instead they are gonna order a fully loaded car with options I don't want and hoping that someone will pay $5k over sticker.

What bs. Some dealers are obsessed with moving volume. That's where you may find a deal. Generally, if you move a lot of cars, your allotment of special models may increase over time. Unless I've missed my guess.

Right now what I'm seeing is most are getting 1 or 2 allociates and that's based on how many mustangs (all trims) they sell. I still think that there will be an end of model year push and these will be sitting on the lots for Invoice. Or I'll be one of the first to order a '14

I've called several dealers around KC, one in Omaha, and one in Des Moines. The des Moines didn't have an allocation. The Omaha didn't currently have a allocation but for a $5k deposit I could be on their waiting list. :shakes head: I told the guy that didn't make since for me to give them cash and they couldn't even garuntee me a car.

Back from TN, good trip.
Went up to the smokey mountains, was in an Altima so no fun. Overall it was a great time, meet the girlfriends family and of course every person turned and asked when is our day.
