im over it now. moving on and shopping for a new desktop. any suggestions? im just buying a new tower, and im thinking of spending around 600$ or less..

Almost all decent new computers will have the processor and RAM specs to play the game so you are mostly concerned with getting the best video card for your money. The link twinturbonet provided has lots of choices with decent video cards under "gaming" for under 600 bucks.
