Default Garage door

HI,

I am moving into a TH which has a garage... since I am sure a lot of ppl on here will have their garage's and are very handy...

Is there a garage door opener you suggest purchasing and installing ?

I have looked at a few different ones but cant decide. I am thinking of getting one with 2 remotes, a key pad and the security reverse trip (?)

THanks,
Jay

I have mostly used craftsman without any issues at all.

I agree. I currently have 3 Craftsman garage door openers. I went with the belt drive, it's a little quieter.

so the craftsman garage door opener that I purchased came with 7' rail ... unfortunately my door is 7'.8" ...

SO i have to purchase an additional kit thats a 8foot rail, does anyone know where I can buy just 1 piece of extension for the rails?

Thanks,
jay
