iPad HD, who's buying one?
 

The new iPad seems awesome! I can't believe they actually got a retina display that big without jacking up the price. The specs are pretty amazing on this thing. I just spent all day refreshing my cart and after 3 hours I finally got to final check out. Anyone else excited about this new device?

I am a died in the wool Fandroid, but even I have to admit that those are some pretty impressive stats. I got a Transformer Prime for Christmas so I won't be picking one up, but my dad got his iphones 4s a couple months ago and has been waiting for the new iPad before he bought a tablet. So at least I'll get to play with one.

You can still be a Fandroid and have an iPad :tup: I'm sure you already have an iPod, right? Why not add another to the collection :icon17:.

Meh, I have to say it is pretty dissapointing considering what Apple has the potiential to do. I will be sticking with my iPad 2. Maybe the iPhone 5 will be worth a trade in.

I'm staying with the iPad 1 until Apple decides to blow me away.

I think the retina is a pretty big leap forward from the current display. I skipped the 2 but am considering the 3rd gen now.

I agree the retina display is beautiful. The wife and I have the iPhone 4 and 4S, respectively, and even though the display is awesome in its own rite, I'm just not excited enough about the same technology integrated with the iPad in order to justify buying one. I think the display on the 1st generation is still really nice. I'm just waiting patiently for something that will be revolutionary as the successor in the same way the iPhone 5 is expected to be.

I already have an iPad 2, but, instead of upgrading, I am thinking about buying a cheap iPad 1 and integrating it into my Z. :)

Save some money and get a 1 or 2. Nothing revolutionary about 3. Now if it had a flash that I could turn on and use as a flash light.....:happydance:

I agree, I have the ipad2 myself and nothing about the iPad3 is revolutionary just evolutionary. until it has a lot more I won't upgrade. I am interested in how you might integrate an iPad with your car, please keep us looped in as I would be interested in doing the same thing.
