From what I have read the teacups, chihuahuas, and other small breeds do have a lot of genetic problems due to inbreeding in an attempt to keep the size down.

From what I have read the teacups, chihuahuas, and other small breeds do have a lot of genetic problems due to inbreeding in an attempt to keep the size down. Just something to be aware of. Me and my wife are on the other end of the scale. The largest (mass) breed as recognized by AKC. This is him at four months, he's now 130 pounds.
