It's gonna trickle down eventually. Audi and other high end companies are already bringing out cars that can partially control the car with advanced cruise control systems. Audi has the "traffic jam assist" coming soon....Nissan meanwhile, will soon have acceleration suppression technology, womp womp.

don't forget volvo's demonstration of "our car can see an object in front of you, notice your not paying attention and brake for you" system they showed on top gear too :p

I like that idea. I hereby declare the Steelers winner of every superbowl from here on out. So the rest of the teams should just give up.

thanks.

P.s your point of makeup is invalid because your only talking about one thing.

people who check facebook while driving, call up random people while driving. These arent to save time, its to distract them from their commute. Because they are things they dont have to do, and trust me, if they were doing something they enjoyed, they wouldnt be doing those tasks during.

I like playing video games... but when i get to a map i hate, i end up alt tabbing, checking out new music etc. Im not "saving time" im just distracted as the task at hand isnt interesting to me.

So why don't you ask people who multitask in their car why they are doing it, chances are they are gonna say they are doing it to save time. Not because they hate or dislike driving.

And its okay you were quick to change it, so it didn't show, but you know what you said, and it was wrong. whether or not you'll admit is up to your character. lol.

The point, again, as you've avoided, is that people who multitask in their car will say they're doing it to save time, but if they had enough interest in driving or treated it with the seriousness that it merits (remember, our lives are on the lines every time we drive), then they wouldn't put everyone out there at such terrible risk by doing their makeup or eating or calling their bffs.

i may change it, .00001 seconds after i post it, it would still say "last edited on:" by my post.. theres nothing i can do to avoid that if i were to edit my post.

therefor.. i never changed anything.. you just misread.. or didn't understand like you seem to be constantly doing.

Not avoiding anything, im right here.

Now, you are going away from the point. Doesnt matter if they endanger lives, or what have you.

The main point is that people multitask to save time, or why else would it be called multitasking. They do it for that reason and that reason only, and you guy seem to disagree with it.

You claim, or as Daisuke did before he changed his answer, that they do it it because they dislike driving, wrong.

Thats the basis of the two arguments, you take a pick. I still stand by my first statement. Which is the multitask to save time, point blank.

Seriously though, I want this option. I've been waiting since the 80's for somthing like this. It better sound like Mr. Feeny though.

Plus, I like taking naps while driving.

but your wrong. people multitask because they are bored, or dont have interest in the first task..

do you multitask during sex?
or while racing a car...

no.. you multi task while taking a poop.. or on your commute to work... or while in a meeting where your bored.

If you are engaged in your activity, interested in it and looking forward to it, you will not multitask..

for example again, your out on a date, everythings going great.. so you realize you havnt checked your phone and she hasnt either..

now your on another date, and both parties are a bit bored, you find each is randomly pulling out the phone and texting other friends or checking facebook.

When you do, irrelevant and unimportant things as part of the multitasking, its not saving time, because if you didn't do them, it wouldnt change anything. And again, i didnt change anything.. your absolutely retarded if you think that anyone can edit a post without it saying "last edited ..." not even the admin can do that.

Didnt you lose authority to answer for Shado back in page 2? Or was it when you changed your answer, lol. Anyways your posts have no meaning to me, since you are obviously, upset about something you are Clearly denying. Just be a man and own up to your mistake and ill respect it.

As for the argument, I said it before and ill say it again, multitasking in a Car is almost always to make up for time. Forget all these other situations you are bringing up to make your point valid. I don't know how many times I have to say it. ha. Thats the only basis of my argument, and if Im wrong ill accept it like a man does, but im not. So thats where i Stand.

you just changed your arguement from its to save time to.. its almost always to save time..

but its not. 2 out of 3 people here (me and shado vs you) argue that its not. given the size of the sample, we are the majority, until more people chime in.

And i didn't lose authority to do anything. this be the interwebs. Which means unfortunately that there are people like you on here, who just don't understand how things work (such as editing posts)

but its okay, you made a statement, and your sticking by it despite being wrong. Good to stick to you guns sometimes. Good luck with that.
