Call me crazy but....
So I'm on the way home this afternoon riding with my aunt when I just looked over and saw an older (maybe 2 or 3 years old) Mustang GT. What caught my eye was the overly large spoiler. And the color was kinda cool...sorta orange-ish.
Anyway, as I'm looking down the side of the car I see a "R" symbol where I would have expected to see the "GT" symbol. That "R" looked mighty familiar, too. As his light changes green I get a chance to see the back of his car..... ....and I swear this..... Call me crazy but the "R" on the side of the car and the "GTR" symbol on the back sure looked like it came from a Nissan GT-R. If he wanted to promote Nissan so much he shoulda just purchased one. Unless I'm wrong and they made a Mustang R?

Exactly! Except for the overly large spoiler....I SWEAR that was the symbol on the back of that car I saw today.
And I never noticed but there is a Mustang GTR, however the G and T are connected. Unlike the Nissan G and T symbol. The one I saw today, the G & T weren't connected and the R was just below them. Now this....this is a Mustang GTR Concept car:

did he say it came with NAWZ????
If someone comes up to you and starts asking you questions about your car and is holding a camera.... its best to just walk the other way....

There is a GTR version for the mustang. It's a 2009 or 2010, something like that.

"It's got a rotary in there, right?"
"Yep" Wow. Double wow. I love people that know nothing about cars and yet install mods because their friends tell them it would be "dope" . |

Although I am not a mustang fan that version was my favorite of the later body styles.
The type R was limited in 2000 and had a race enhanced package, brakes, supercharger, suspension and of course aero... hence the R Nick |

Theres a bad *** Maxima that parks up the street so he can go to work I guess. Its Teal. The Trunk lid has been rattle canned teal, and in the center is a stenciled and rattle canned "GTR" just like the actual logo.
He also has a CF GT attack spoiler, and Nismo stickers everywhere! Every time I see it I laugh. |
