I agree with you there. Not just there. The most LA and OC drivers are the worst. They got no driving skills. They don't read and follow the road signs. They have no driving etiquette and got a fake attitude.

the saying over here goes as

we have pre-winter, winter, post-winter and then pot-hole season.

This survey might shed some light in here :).

GA is high up and I definitely agree with that. Its a challenge every day just to avoid these ppl that don't know how to drive. Man, they really fooled the DMV into issuing them a license. I have heard ppl from NY and NJ come down here and even they admit its bad.

I think that says alot.

Here's my .02:

New York/New Jersey has both the best and the worst. The best are here because they've had to work so long and so hard to avoid the stupidity of the worst! Here in NJ where I work, I hear them complain about Eastern Pa. being worse than NJ, but the reality is that the vast majority of Pa drivers commuting in NJ are recent residents of NJ that moved west to save $$ (housing market in NJ is RIDICULUS!)

Perhaps because I've been driving in NJ for so long I don't find it so horrible, maybe I've become one of them? I've never live in NJ.....I found some of the worst drivers in Conneticut and Massachusetts, but the winner in my book is the Rt 19 area of western Florida around Tampa where all the old bad NY and NJ drivers have retired and added decrepitness to their driving resumes. They are absolutely frightening!!

I've lived in London and Brussels, driven in both, as well as many of the major cities in Europe. Paris and Rome are probably the worst. Worse than ANYTHING here in the States. Besides all the testosterone infused frustrated Formula 1 drivers on the road, there are Citroen 2CV (Deux Chavoix or 2 horses for the 2 French Horsepower they deliver) and DAK's (first mass produced variable transmission) which are driven by idiots by nature, and mopeds which a another special European curse!

Arcadia is awful. It's a mix of older drivers who drive slow, and a bunch of kids with riced cars who watched way too much fast and furious.

And then you get off the roads, pull into the asian market, and get dinged with like 15 shopping carts, and an older lady in a Toyota Sienna ready to slam into the side of your car because she's not looking while she's backing up. :roflpuke2:

StLRedrider 06-05-2009 04:21 PM

There are some real winners here is the StL. Stop signs, whatz a stops signs? And the texting that goes on, Damn that is so anoying. I was out with one of my guys cutting grass awhile back driving from one yard to the next and look over at him and he's texting driving one of my work trucks fully loaded down with his knees, you talk about pissed.

You'll see any car speeding on the left lane.

Where in Bergen do you live? Im from Upper Saddle River...yea if you go 65 lets say on a 55..you should stay on the right lane..everyone drives 15-20 over...sucks we have one of the highest insurance..

you never truly understand how bad Jersey drivers are..until you ride your motorcycle...i knew 3 guys from high school..all with bikes..they all died from being hit by other drivers..

miguez 06-05-2009 05:03 PM

Adding to Jersey, I lived in Bergen county for four years.

A four-way stop in New Jersey works like this: Whoever has the biggest car goes first, if everyone decides to actually stop.

so true...its always like a staring contest between two soccer moms in usually an Escalade and a Hummer H2...if i inch forward to turn...they start honking at me and furiously cursing..even when i get there first
