Default FedEx FAIL

As a diehard BF3 fan (looks in the direction of his 370Z Platoon mates and nods), I had to make a drastic decision to order a new motherboard so I could get back to playing (my old one took a crap). ANYWAY, I ordered a new board Wednesday morning and paid 35 dollars to have it overnighted to me by Thursday. Guess what, Friday morning and no sign of motherboard. I have no tracking number and the company I bought it from said they shipped it on Wednesday. Do you think I am entitled to my $35 dollars back...or at least the difference in overnight vs. second day? Just curious if anyone else has run into this before.

Not saying its right that you paid for over night and didnt get it but you gotta understand, its a few days before xmas. UPS, FedX and USPS are all swamped

I get the whole holiday thing...but I paid almost 40 dollars to have something shipped from one state away...I wouldn't be upset if I ordered ground and it was off by a day or two..but if they aren't going to meet my overnight payment, don't offer it to me or give me a heads up you know?

Also, it was not from either of those two sites. They didn't carry the board I wanted.

It probably never shipped (hence why no tracking). A lot of parts companies don't ship same day, so unless you paid for an expedited service that assured same day shipping there isn't much that can be done except yell at the shipper.

They lie. If they didn't give you a tracking number then it didn't ship.

Who did you order it from?

It probably didn't ship. If they are legit it could have "shipped" to them but might not be with FedEx yet... but usually the tracking numbers are generated in house and don't actually refresh with data until the carrier picks them up.

The real key is to find out who you ordered from... a lot of places online are not legit.

no reason to not provide tracking if they were being honest with you. I'd question the reputation of the company you bought it from before blaming FedEx.
