They've all got their uses. Wordpress is the most powerful and most flexible. tumblr is great if you're a hipster or 15 years old. Or if you don't want to setup Wordpress. Blogger is bottom of the barrel in my opinion.
Before coming to Vivid, I did web development work and I still do some stuff on the side. Wordpress is by far the most powerful, most flexible, and for me it's the easiest to work with. Here's our blog, built on Wordpress. VividRacing.com Performance Racing Parts

I write for a growing tech site and my own blog -- both use WordPress.
Echoing the above, WordPress is the most powerful out-of-the-box solution on the market that I'm aware of. It has a huge community behind it, and the software itself is very stable and fast. Tumblr is kind of neat for what it is, but it isn't professional at all. Blogger CAN be good, but it is incredibly limiting, and is better suited for someone who wants to keep their thoughts contained to their circle of friends, imo.

What I meant is that I'm not really posting as much as I thought. I haven't even logged in for at least a month.

Wordpress allows you to schedule posts. Sit down one day and write 5 or 6 posts. Schedule them for every week and BAM! You're updatin' weekly.

basically what everyone else has already said. I'd go with wordpress hands down. It's powerful enough to run an entire site but is simple enough if you just want a basic blog with the most integration options.

That's the kind of comment I hear from people who don't understand how useful a blog, twitter or other social media outlets can be for promoting your business and connecting with other people who share your interests. "I hate facebook." "Twitter is dumb." Truth is, social media is not for everyone, but everyone who uses it has their own personal reasons that makes it work for them; Some people want to keep up on news or celebrity gossip or even stalk their ex, while some people want to let the world know about their profession or hobby and others simply want to use it to share news and photos with friends and family.
If social media outlets like blogs and facebook are so bad, why would you bother being on a forum like this one? It's basically zbook.

This is my blog:
The Auto Fanatic I normally put all of my event photos there, and regularly update it. It's totally free to use blogspot and there are a ton of cool templates to use as well. I even get paid (barely ) for any traffic that I bring to the blog or my youtube page. TheAutoFanatic's Channel - YouTube I've had the blog for about two years and will keep going as long as I keep attending events or have any exclusive content. Link? |

Also have another I'm going to start working on that will just be about my 370 and the things i do to it or with it. I'll probably start working on it some this week since I have a few items coming in

modachroma I only have one entry, I'm still fiddling with the layout and the widgets, and I doubt it's anything you guys will be interested in... but there it is.
