what are you buying? and tbh, unless you have been changing your order every other day, that was somewhat rude and distasteful. Just because he said please doesn't make it right.. all you did was ask a question...

I would contact subie of america, or better yet, pull your order and go somewhere else

Cant pull the order for the 2012 subaru STI's there done making the 12's right now....

I think they're pissed because I had a WRX ordered and cancelled that 2 weeks after.

Customer is always right, Clint. Don't settle. Like you said, it's your money, it's your 6 year investment.

yes, don't put up with that ****... I mean, still be curtious and polite. but ask why they are being dicks. you were told you could make changes, especially since the car isn't even there

Yeah. I mean, if SoA says it's standard operating procedure, then ok. But if they're like "wtf", then yeah... The dealership should earn your business. You shouldn't have to placate them to give them a sale.

Thank you this is what I have set up to go to SOA
So I'm not getting a good vibe now. I have no clue what to do, if I should just give up, but here is what I relayed to my salesman. Granted I cancelled my WRX wagon order after two weeks, but here is the story. I should not be treated like this as a customer spending this much and especially ordering a more expensive vehicle!!!

I am EXTREMELY worried as to what to do. I don't want my car damaged, driven past 4000 RPMS for break in wrong gasoline. I am really nervous now as to what I should do. We can't order anymore 2012's as the last date was 4/24. What should I do? This makes me nervous that I bought the car now and all the "What" ifs.

k20z3 05-02-2012 09:46 PM

what should I say?

They're not going to damage your car. Not if they have any interest in your future business.

I would just explain the situation factually and see what they have to say. Just lay out "X happened, Y happened, Z happened" and let them respond.

But it's a touchy situation. I've never dealt with something quite like this before.

:iagree:
you want to make sure you are clear and to the point as well. also
make sure you spell check and run it past one of those grammar nazis.
the last thing you want to do is send them some mess because you were to heated to type correctly

Thanks guys heres what I have so far to "Dealer relations"

So a little background I'm 21 years old and I placed my first brand new vehicle order with Groove Subaru.

Side history, is that I ordered a WRX impreza, and I am going to be making payments for 6 years on the car so I wanted it to be on a 2012 STI Limited.

The dealer cancelled order and placed new order for me, they seemed annoyed that this caused delay in their operations or whatever the case may be.

So we agreed to a great price, including window tint and clear bra. However, I found another foundation to apply the clear bra, tint, and buff the car all in one sitting for ALOT cheaper.

So I contacted my salesman and sales manager at groove to ask, since the difference of the clear bra/tint would match my USAA price of the SPT exhaust around 800$, I asked if this could be done. Below in quotes is the response from the dealer and my correspondence.

I AM extremely wary now of this whole thing and Subaru. This is what I sent to my representative Jessica of SOA:
(SR #:1-1990833034)
