A local dealer received a few 2013 GTs. They had a Deep impact blue so I went down to look at it with my wife. Mainly to figure if it's a color I wanted.
These had just arrived and they were still in back and hadn't been detailed. The salesman took me back there even after I told him I was interested in the GT500.

At first he wasn't pushy and he showed me want they had back there. They had 2 GTs and a V6. 1 GT was DIM and the other 2 were ingot silver. Only the V6 had leather.

As I was winding down to leave this is when he started. He first told me to buy a GT and put a turbo in it. Then he told my wife that there was no way I was getting a GT500 because they were all already sold.

I had to explain to her that he meant only the first allotment and there will be plenty available later.

It sounds like the salesman didnt care, and he was just saying sh1t to say sh1t...

If I actually showed interest in the GT he would have been more interested, but since I was just there to see the blue in person...I was just a waist of his time.

well thatas still bullsh1t, he shoulda treated you better, I woulda got with a manager, and told him to get me somebody that wants to sell me a car.

Its fine, I will be buying my GT500 in late summer or fall when they are on the lot and Im no longer in El Paso. I dont seem to trust the dealerships here. Only 3 major choices with a few smaller ones. Not much choice and they know it. If I were buying today, I would have driven to Dallas or San Antonio. I will be moving to KC this summer and I will search every dealer between here and there. Someone will have them and will be willing to deal. If not, Ive got a great car I love now. Im in no hurry.
