I also think that SAI made themselves look really bad photoshopping that wheelie picture.

That's a huge waste of money for the completely ridiculous unlikelihood that you'll never even get to experience 250mph unless you go to the salt flats in Utah. :ugh2:

Here's a list of 200 mph + cars

Bently Conti Flying Spur - $226,485 ~ 201 MPH
Bugatti Veyron - $1,482,000 ~ 253 MPH
Callaway Corvette SC606 - $116,650 ~ 205 MPH
Corvette ZR1 - $121,425 ~ 205 MPH
Ferrari 458 Italia - $280,572 ~ 203 MPH
Ford GT - $150,525 ~ 212 MPH
Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 - $480,325 209 MPH
Lamborghini Aventador $379,700 ~ 217 MPH
Lexus LFA $388,475 ~ 202 MPH
McLaren F1 $1,131,120 ~ 231 MPH
Mercedes SLR McLaren - $455,750 ~ 207 MPH
Porsche Carrera GT - $460,400 ~ 205 MPH
Porsche 911 GT2 - $198,875 ~ 204 MPH
Saleen S7 Twin Turbo - $602,442 ~ 250 MPH

So just talking 250 mph minimum pay to play is $600k. So I guess $200k is a bargain.

My choice. :tiphat:

True, I understand it that way. Just don't see why someone would want to spend so much for a car they'll never experience the full potential of, but then when listed in that bunch, we see the reason why.

You're more than welcome to add...I'd prefer production cars not tuner cars...though.

I own a car that goes 154mph and never driven that fast. I'm planning on buying a car that goes 200 mph and probably won't reach that. I guess it's bragging rights and just because it's top specs are out of reach doesn't mean it can't still perform at reachable levels.

I guess. I just personally am not a fan of owning a vehicle whos limits I don't know. 155mph is attainable relatively easier than 200. But I still wanna see your GT500 when you get it. If you get it in the blue it is going to be sick. :yum:

Well next year I'll be near KC and who knows the year after that. I'm gonna push my assignments guy for germany, but hope I can find a track near where ever they send me.

If you do get Germany, you better let me know so I can fly out and we can go lap the Nurburgring.

Lemers 03-29-2012 11:56 PM

Not possible for backseat drivers in the Z.
