S&W M&P 40. Had a glock for years until I shot the M&P. It was done after that.

I should introduce you to my sister. she might as well go to glock church and be glockologist!

MandP 40 is a nice gun. I am mostly a rifle shooter being an outdoorsmen, but I do like my SW1911. cept the trigger.. been meaning to upgrade it.

I thought I loved my glock, lol.

Can't go wrong with a 1911, it's practically the perfect gun.

Problem is, its big. full size. and I ain't really got the cheddar for a good carry size 1911, ie Kimber ultra carry II.

So instead I've been looking at Sig 220 compact/carry and the HK45C. which don't make too much sense cuz they almost as darn expensive as the kimber.

Yeah, the glock actually felt better in my hand. While the M&P didn't feel as good in my hand, I think that's because it was correcting my bad form to make better shots.

Thats an interesting way to look at it. the M&P has a shorter trigger pull than the G23 right? that too should help accuracy a lot.

My sister carries a G23 gen III and swears by it. going to be shooting it for the first time this month. keeping my mind open.

I don't think so. The M&P trigger pull may be longer, but a bit more crisp. But it's trigger safety forces me to squeeze the trigger instead of pulling/jerking.
