So the phone is pretty easy to get used to. I am already over having a physical keyboard (my phones for the last 3-4 years were either Blackberry or Droid models with keyboards). The screen is amazing. The camera is only so-so... kind of stinks that it didn't get a better one, but it's still pretty decent. Voice-to-text recognition is a lot clearer than with my Droid 2. The "Drive Home" widget is really cool. I have my office and home on my home screen and it uses the real-time traffic to tell me how many minutes away from each I am. Pretty cool.
Still figuring out some other shiz.

I might have waited to see what other Android 4.0 phones roll out next year, but because my Droid 2 only worked about 50% of the time I couldn't. The GN will do!

Hey Steve if you need more Powah?
The ext bat is on sale at verizon online for 24.99 1/2 off the regular price Also use volume+ ap to increase the dismal sound volume from the handsfree speaker and this will increase the ringer volume also. |

OK so I am not sure if I'm keeping the phone. No SMS Bluetooth??? Texts don't work with Sync.
Volume is stupid low (haven't tried volume + yet) and wifi connectivity is weak. I have some time to figure it out but I might exchange for a RAZR. I think it gets the 4.0 update in a month or two. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk

Texting... not a big issue because I do not respond to text messages while driving anymore... too dangerous. But it was nice to have sync read incoming texts to me. I guess I will just ride it out and see how I like it... I have 28 more days to return it if necessary. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk

I don't have these issues that you seem to be having. I'm running the OTA(4.0.2), rooted with some addons, I've played with 4.0.3 some of the stuff is not to stable as of yet for everyday use. I am however running the leaked radio img's for 4.0.3 made a big difference.
It all come down to preference though. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk

My boss has the RAZR and I like it, honestly the RAZR has better hardware (screen/camera/etc.) but is a Motorola build with their software over Android.
