Traded in the Z tonight...

Broke my heart when the sales guy drove it away. :(

Honestly, I'm just tired of scraping on everything. It's not practical at all for me as a daily driver, and I couldn't keep it as a weekend fun car.

007MI6 10-15-2011 11:23 PM

LOL, yea, it isn't a practical car. Just a great toy. Glad you took my ribbing in good humor.
So what's up for the replacement?

Red__Zed 10-15-2011 11:25 PM

what'd ya get?

Ribbing is expected, Good Sir. Bought a loaded Chevy Avalanche LTZ. It's a complete 180 from the Z. I guess I'm getting old, lol. I didn't have time to take off my mods because it was kind of a sudden decision. Too bad, because I would've sold them off super cheap just to get rid of them.

frost 10-15-2011 11:31 PM

Oh my, with the mods and everything. Now that stinks.

Ok, that sir is unforgivable. :shakes head: Dealer doesn't want those mods...

ResQguy 10-15-2011 11:39 PM

I know...I know. I'm a douche. I totally didn't expect to buy today, so I had planned to either sell it outright with the mods on it, or remove everything, sell the parts, and sell the Z stock. Sorry guys.

We're not mad. We're just ... disappointed.

I'm disappointed in myself. I would've practically given away the Stillen exhaust and Gen 3 Intake. Hopefully the next buyer appreciates my tasteful add-ons.

My wife literally had tears in her eyes when they took it from us.

Here's a link to the new ride. Not my first choice of color but it looks really good in person. It's super clean and completely loaded.

That was my first choice as well. But after seeing and driving a few Silverado's/Sierra's/Avalanche's in the area, I fell in love with this one. It's super clean and it's loaded. I posted a link a couple posts back if you feel like checking it out.

Oh man that sucks but you can always get another Z in a few years.

Nice truck though, that thing is loaded!

Thanks bro. We looked at several trucks and SUV's, and this one was easily the nicest. And the price was right. I'm debating if I should go all white trashy and throw a lift on it, lol. Now.......all Nissan has to do is come out with either a supercharged 6, or an 8-cylinder Z and I'll be back. :stirthepot:

the redneck inside me says do it. trucks without a lift and 40s + and a winch is a no no and should be runned off the road.

Save for a GT-R ;)

I would leave the height but add a set of black off-road type wheels.

ZForce 10-16-2011 03:53 PM

Sad day to hear of another Z owner giving up their fun ride. g/l with the truck.
