Do they make a wheel/gas pedal system that has a clutch and actual 6 sp box for that added realism? Not a shifter that you just press up/down...

yeah they do $59 extra for the shifters..but i just like paddles so im just gonna use those

got to try it out yesterday with the wheel

overall its promising but i think something was wrong with the peddles in the cockpit i was in was the brake had like 2 inches of movement and it wouldnt brake hardly at all

i read about these pedals having a setting for load cell or something like that so i assume that was what was wrong

I'll be getting it on launch day, but it might be competing for my attention with the Spec V2.0 update to GT5. But given that that update has to be downloaded from the PSN, I'll have all night to play Forza 4 :)

Can't wait for FM4! I preordered the LE, which doesnt hit until this Friday, so I have my weeked all planned!! Anyone play the demo? Looks pretty sick, rivals mode is a pretty cool feature... FR me on Xbox if youd like Gamertag: "Coolguy Face"

Preordered the collector's edition a few weeks back and have been grinding out the achievements in Forza3, that is LOOOOOOONG game. I don't think I'm gonna make it. Especially now that I have a wheel and must relearn how to play. >.<

Did hop in the demo some and its fun. Hated the Subaru but the Ferrari was easy to drive.

I haven't been able to get on much lately, but that should change with Forza4 and Halo CEA coming out. Good fall season. :D

if you happen to have logitech G25/ G27 pedals you can use those and save $149.. or in a few weeks the cheaper regular CSR pedals will be out

i got my tracking # for my wheel today... i get it the 12th...so one day after launch.. will post reviews and vids


there is one made by madcatz thats $249 for wheel and pedals..but thats pretty expensive for what it is....

yeah i called my local gamestop and they arnt having a midnight for it.... so it will be tomorrow.... my wheel is coming tomorrow to so should be a good day!

^^ what's the difference between the 911 GT2 wheel and the CSR besides the badging -- they start at the same price?

i dont know all the ins and outs but the CSR is a newly developed wheel made especially for foza

Did you buy the pedals too or was it $422 for just the wheel + shipping?

422 for the wheel and pedals ( $249 + 149) since i use paddle shift in real life anyway i opted not to get the shifter for the extra 59....


i think next month the other pedals are coming out and will most likely be $100 or less.. but for $50 more i just got the ones that were available now

Hmmm, I thought the 249 was in Euros which at the current exchange rate would make it $341 in US dollars ...

yea i mean either way its high as the extra cost for the pedals is what sucks...but i justified it as i play GT5 alot and it works for both... and its something i really enjoy so i went ahead and did it....

i got my racing cockpit for $380 shipped so i mean not counting the systems im gonna have less than 1K in a really nice set up so im happy

What cockpit did you get again? It was some British company right? Do you think it's better than the playseats?

it was 319 on ebay and i made an offer of 289 and they took it...but shipping was like $90... i just looked and dont see that exact model on ebay only the cheaper GT


as far as how it compares to playseat or something..ive never used one... i just thought this one looked really cool and sleek... the leather seat is really nice i mean a ricer would love to have it in his civic... the base for the wheel is sturdy aswell.. it has almost no play.... what i like is it has pre drilled holes for mounting wheels to it with screws..so i will be taking advantage of that tomorrow

Can't wait! Been rocking this setup since Forza 2 ($50 trip to Lowes and about 2 hours in the garage), would like to pick up a Fanatec setup since I'm already on my 2nd wireless wheel on this seat. Posting this makes me miss the Triumph TR7 I got the seat from #sigh

MC, your setup looks sick! But I see two things that needs some improvement! 1. Where is your cupholder??? 2. you need a NISMO Badge on the rear LMAO! haha... nice pics brada!:tiphat:
