well, well, out major(commander) decided no one below E-6 can drive GOV's off base... and then, we only have like 4 GOV's that are allowed off base...
so it makes it really difficult to get down town...

when we scuba, its because a few guys have friends on base so they borrow their cars, but I don't have direct access.. and Simota could pick me up, like he did for the meet, but im not gonna call him just to take me to game stop lol
and the BX was out of Forza 4 for the last 2 weeks..lol

Not at all. I just enjoy modifying different cars in different ways and the realism of this game makes it all that more enjoyable, esp in photograph mode.

I guess AWD 370Z's are realistic :-p

Seems a little steep, but I'm a sucker for Porches and I'll likely pick it up when it becomes available.

Yeah I have a PS3 and GT5 which is cool but it's asinine once you get in the later stages and you have to spend like 5+ hours to complete the stages.

I like playing but I don't like spending 1/2 my day on it plus there's no Porsche's! No stock real Porsche's anyway just modified 911's.
Forza 4 seems really neat so I'll be getting an XBOX soon.

Are those steering/shifting/ brake/ throttle kit things pretty realistic? I imagine it's better than the hand controller but I've never tried anything but.

I wonder if people can actually learn how to drive manual like that... It would be pretty cool because you wouldn't have to worry about literally frying the clutch, etc..

I asked because there's someone I'd like to teach. I'm kinda weary about using my car to teach them... Maybe they can learn enough on the game using the shifter/clutch gimmick to be not so terrible in real life?

Boy is it fun. My setup has the clutch pedal and everything, but I'm not sure you could teach someone to drive a manual with it. Driving a manual is a lot about the relationship between the clutch and the gas when starting from 0 -- everyone learns pedal in - shift - pedal out (while in motion) pretty easily. It's the balancing of the throttle input to the release of the clutch while starting out that people who have never driven a manual have problems with. The feel of the clutch and throttle in the game doesn't really come close to simulating that.

Anyone know what going on with the monthly car packs that we were supposed to get?

I have November, December, January. And that's it. I thought with the membership we were getting 6 total. So were is February and March?

I'm pretty sure they where released but its not called Feb or March pack it has another name. I will check in a little.
