Need Help Identifying Shoe

Hey everyone, I wanted to see if you all could help identify what shoe this sole design belongs to. It is a fairly narrow sole, flat sole, and is between a size 8.5 and a 10 in mens.

The problem is I came out to my car this morning and found that someone had walked over the hood of my car and am now trying to figure out potential culprits. It happened at school and the only reason someone would be walking by where I parked is if they were coming back from the gym towards the apartment complex I am currently in. I am not going vigilante on this but I want to narrow potential suspects down just in case I ever see anything conclusive.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

The "tread" makes me think it's a basketball shoe. Not much, but a start.

Edit: The lines in the front look like they're from an Adidas shoe.

Is there anywhere in there where you can sort of make out a brand name/logo?

With a pattern like that, you're looking at possibly anyone...

Not to mention, with it being in cali, you're looking at any sort of flip flop/slip on shoe as well... :ugh2:

A brand name would help narrow it down a bit...

Christian, That Suks monkeys balls that someone would do that to your car

I'd pound that s.o.b. into the ground if I found out who'd do something like that. WTF!!!!!!!

I have a ton of shoes, but none with a similar tread (I just checked all my Adidas).

Not being able to get a brand from the prints is going to make it extremely difficult as there are so many brands, types of shoes to search, and not every one has a sole picture.

I wish I could see any evidence of a brand on there, but unfortunately there is none. It looks like it was just a spur of the moment thing where some prick thought it would be a cool idea to just jump up and walk across the hood. Of course there were no security cameras there to catch it.

WTF!?!?! were you parked next to a wall or something they would have needed to turn your car into a stepping stool for? Or did it look like this person just did it for ***** and giggles? Still effed up under any circumstance.

Rone 09-03-2011 03:00 PM

@Cow. Close, but it looks like he's looking for something with a line down the middle of the heel.

Good eye. It's hard toggling between pages on my iPad (first world problems).

It was ***** and giggles, there is nothing but open space around my car. It is really pissing me off, I posted this on a huge shoe forum to see if I get an leads there. :(

I will be even more angry if I can't polish out the deeper marks, some of them I can just slightly feel with my nail but the other stuff is more superficial.

Man, i thought i was opening up a what wheel is this thread, but holy **** that sucks man! There are many things i would do to that person, teach him to respect what he doesn't have. Seriously people are getting worse and worse.

On top of that if this happened up in Newport Beach, idk what to say that is even worse, some kid that asked dad and didn't get it most likely(idk you so no offense its a well off area imo).

This happened at my school which is up in Malibu. It cannot just be the fact that I have a nice car, there are kids rolling in V10 R8s, Bentley CGTs, Porsches, and so on. I think it was a spur of the moment thing, thank god there was no damage to the body panels. I'm amazed that the hood stood up to a person walking on it though!

Newport is well off, there are a ton of spoiled kids in my area for sure. I am very lucky to have such great parents, but I do not take for granted what I have. I have worked since I was 16 and buy almost everything myself which is what really helped give me a sense of pride in what I have which is what every person should have.

If people don't respect themselves and their own stuff, they most likely will not respect others in my experience.
