Per the news coming out of the east coast, they shut down offices and sent people home for the day. What 5.0 or 6.0 magnitude quake has caused such a disruption in Cali. 5.0's and 6.0's occur more often than not and I've never been sent home for the day.....

First thing I did after the shaking stopped was to run outside and check on my Z... make sure no bricks fell on it.

i was in a 5.3 in san diego. that one was much more like a wave - up and down . this one was more like rattling vibration followed by small waves for another minute.
