Who is on Google+?
 

Just wondering if there are more out there that are on Google Plus. Did you move over from Facebook?

I am.. but likely won't use it until they get out of closed beta. I don't see it killing Facebook, but it will be the Facebook-that-my-parents-aren't-on-yet site. I do like how it's integrated with every Google.com site (Gmail, Web search, etc) in a CSS toolbar fashion at the top.

I like it way better than FB. Hope it catches on when they finally release it.

I like it but agree not enough people still.
Until 80% of my FB friends are on it I cannot fully switch. Also, I only have 200 friends on FB which are still active from friends, family, etc. but would like to get off FB.

I just deactivated my facebook and told myself instead of facebook I will be using the370z.com!!!
The only downside is that the370z.com doesnt have tetris battle -.-;;

I am on it and playing the role of G+ evangelist to get my friends to switch. Love the granularity of circles.
I don't "Friend" anyone at work because I keep a firewall between personal and professional. G+ allows me to easily control that.

Exactly! You can create your own circles. I have 370z circle plus ten others so I can keep everything separated with better security on your information. My only persona on Facebook is a false one to visit others. Everyone says I need a facebook page for my business. Well, I am not a restaurant, so why? Don't have time for that.

I've gotten pretty jaded and cynical when it comes to social networking sites. Myspace went the way of the dodo, Twitter is useless self indulgence, and Facebook seems to be on a decline as well. In my experience, many people only use Facebook to try and make their lives seem more interesting in order to make other people feel inferior. It's gotten to the point where I go some place and I'll see a group of high school kids who are spending more time documenting their outing with pictures and posting them on facebook in real-time than they are actually enjoying the event. It's not about what you do anymore, it's about how you present yourself on facebook. It's about making everyone else feel as lousy as possible by posting the most exciting 5% of your life for everyone to see.

I like google+ better. Waiting for it to grow more though.

Aside from Z forum. I typically hate cyber-social networks. My g talk is enough. G+ is going overboard. Facebook is big brothers strongest tool and the pathway to :shakes head::shakes head:fascist communism. I despise the whole concept of facebook. (Even tho all this cyber sh1t is big brother related). I rather have my friends in the real world than on cyberspace. :tup:

I deleted my facebook account several months before g+ launched. I just got tired of the spammy game posts and the everything-public-to-everyone nature of it. The big killer feature of g+ is the circles.

Facebook is kinda like every time you want to have a short conversation with anyone, you have to drag your little sister, your girlfriend, your drinking buddies, and your grandma into the same room, tape their eyeballs open and strap them into a chair, shout at them without clearly indicating who the information is even meant for, and try not to offend them all or look stupid to any of them. It's just socially preposterous. G+ has mostly fixed that problem with the circles thing.

Yep , am on G+ aswell but doesnt seem to have taken off. I use G+ to log my music tastes which i like ( akin to a person utube channel ). Think the whole social network scene may be peaking... G+ might take off though if it becomes more like linkedIN than facebook.

Im on it, and I think it will eventually kill FB, especially with the older crowd.
