Just met Michael Bisping...
 

...at the grocery store by my house. Apparently he just moved in down the street. The guy put down his groceries and took the time to take some pics, and talk with my wife and I for a few minutes. Seemed like a really good dude.

Great fighter.....will always be upper tier....but doesnt have enough skills to be the champ at his weight. I still wouldnt fight him though.

Surprised he was that cool. Honestly, he seems like kind of a dick in the interviews and whatnot.

Yeah, he was very polite. He even yelled goodbye to me as he was leaving the store. I guess I have to take back all the bad things I've said about him, lol. Although, I still love watching that Hendo KO...

I've heard he's a nice guy in person but he really needs to get a reality check about his position in that division and keep quiet about how good he thinks he is.

I think his ego doesn't allow him to be aware that he was handed tons of fights to build him up to the U.K. audience.

He is not even top 5 in the division and the top ten can probably beat him on any given night.

Still good to know he's a solid guy in person.

Agreed, agreed, and agreed. He's Dana's cash cow in the UK. Zuffa doesn't want to risk having him get destroyed by Sonnen, Anderson, Okami...etc.

Random observation...dude was pretty big in person. Like, surprisingly big. I've met several other fighters when they're not in camp, and none of them carried around as much weight as Bisping seemed to. I'm a reasonably lean 200lbs, so I'm guessing he was a solid 215-220.
