I agree. I had one for my truck, kept it in the bed but the tonneu cover leaked a lil bit and it got all moldy. When I traded the truck in they got the moldy cali duster with it

Does it hurt on a clearcoat or say when you wax it and stuff? I wanna get one for the dust out here, but I just dont wanna get those scratch/buff marks..

No it wont hurt the clearcoat, many people use it for car shows to clean their cars also, its very good. I've used mine often.

Would just rubbing it down with a microfiber cloth work? Or does the semi-stickyness work better on the Cali Duster?

the duster does a better job of keeping off the dust than just a microfiber
