Going to sound noobie....which I kinda am about this situation....but what exactly is the strut tower brace made of? Good old fashioned metal?

haven't looked at ours specifically, but it's either aluminum or steel and I would venture a guess of aluminum for the Z. Back in the old days they were made of steel though.

i would second aluminum. don't think they use steel anymore since it's so much heavier, and titanium is cost-wise out of the question.
