What do you do to comfort somebody who is blind and is bored as hell in a strange location with nothing to do. it drives me freakin nuts to see him like that, he use to be so damn active and now he sits 24/7 doing nothing. After this last stroke he vaguely remembers anything, he knows who i am but not too much of the crazy past we had together.
That's rough man. My grandfather flew down to visit me and ended up in the hospital for weeks. I felt bad that I couldn't be there every day to keep him company.

This happened with my mother before she died. The worst part is watching the frustration they go through.

I like the stock wheels...I just have to be unique.

Red...damn...I don't have a clue how to comfort someone in that situation. It's gotta be rough

I think the saddest part is loss of memory...what's left to live for if you can't remember anything that makes you who you are??

Strokes are extremely hard on everyone around the sufferer. I've been in the situation, and I feel you Red. All I can say is keep your chin up, and be there for him when you can.

sorry to hear that blue, my gp is my best friend, growing up when my dad would say no to everything he would always say yes, never liked the racing though.

no, i don't need a shoulder to cry on, like i said it just drives me nuts sitting there watching him do nothing, nothing. what i mean by crazy times was the fishing trips out on the river and hanging out at the farm, the good times
