the big hold up is they apparently weren't ready for the demand they got all at once. With DDM promoting their wheels, and getting them to make 18's for the track, along with all of their other dealers doing I'm sure something similar, they got overwhelmed with the sudden demand. I can understand that with the quality of wheels at the price point they are at.
On top of that, they don't finish their own wheels (at least that is my understanding), and they got a bunch of wheels back from their powdercoater that came out bad (see Dave's forgestar thread with the variations in color), so they had to redo a bunch of wheels. 7 weeks ago Mike said that forgestar told him my wheels were done except for drilling out the bolt holes and getting pinstriped (ya, I haven't said that anywhere else yet)...as of monday this week he said they were supposed to be finished monday, pinstriped tuesday, and shipped wednesday. We'll see. Cow, good to hear you got a tracking number, lets hope it comes in perfect!

I almost got his used set, but decided I wanted the pinstripes. I ended up getting brand new tires along with the brand new wheels for the price he wanted for his set, but paid the extra $150 for pinstriping. I think Fuz got his used wheels =)

update on the wheels. They still aren't back from powdercoating, which means I doubt they'll be done this week...
FFS I JUST WANT SOME DAMN WHEELS!

This is starting to suck, wonder how long it will take for the 18" wheels to be made for that long list of people.

I doubt the 18's will happen this year, but who knows. I don't think Mike is going to sell forgestar anymore...
