Reminds me of deep south Louisiana. I love that state, but damn you are just wet all of the time in the summer. |

they are a lot of work. you have give them a good diet, clean the cage at least 4 times a week and spend quite a bit of time with them. some varities get very upset and pluck all of their feathers out.

28 man, but I think I've lived three lives by now.
Just been tired lately. Still a student because I returned to school, and currently can't get a job, besides my rentals, and remodeling to save my life. |

You also have to consider them to be a lifetime commitment. I use to raise rescue birds. Local vets, and the humane society use to bring me a lot of local riff raff to nurse to an adult age, or back to health. Last edited by BanningZ; 07-31-2009 at 03:45 AM. |

yea they do sound like a lot and I can imagine vet bills on an exotic animal. Would only seriously consider if I could provide for them and care for it properly. I love animals, so I'm very realistic and responsible when it comes too them.
