:woot: so, was it great, good, okay, bad, disgusting

semtex 07-24-2009 11:25 AM

All of the above. ;) Mind you, I don't know how authentic it was. I got it from a Harvey's inside the Calgary airport while I was waiting for my evac flight out of Canada.

lol. Sorry, a little private humor. Whenever I leave Canada I always feel this sense of urgency because stuff is so expensive there. Example. McChicken sandwich at McDonald's is 99 cents here. $4 in Canada. And the exchange rate is only like 1.16 ($1 USD = $1.16 CAD).

nogoodname 07-24-2009 11:32 AM

because we use real chicken meat here

Thats not as bad as Germany...

Happy Meal = 4 Euro... $7-8

And thats not even what I get, just giving you something basic...
Conversion rate 1.5:1

about the Harvey's Poutine

yeah, not authentic then. only restaurants here serve it right.

i went to one in Ontario and Manitoba, not the same at all.
i bet it was all soggy and nasty....lol....thats the opposite...lol

the fries are suppose to be extra crispy to handle the sauce well

semtex 07-24-2009 11:40 AM

Yep, the fries were soggy. It wasn't bad per se. I just kept thinking -- this stuff will give you a heart attack.

nogoodname 07-24-2009 11:45 AM

i have it twice a week and i'm still here

xiven 07-24-2009 12:23 PM
