so you have to make that board then to change out hte map lite?

Oh, that board stuff is for the ambient light...that little light between the map lights....I dont see myself getting into that just yet. I'll be happy with just swapping out the LED's from the current white to blue. And I guess I'll do the trunk light and I would love to do the license plate lights blue but I think that'd just be trouble......cops wouldnt like that very much I don't think.
And on that note....I'm off to bed! 1:30 AM....and I need more water!

A flat driver will work best. a small install tip, when you insert the driver between the map light cover and the housing frame push towards the center, against the map light cover. Do it on the same side once towards the front and once closer to you. the diy your linked to is what i followed.
