*Warning* This story is graphic.
She died of a Cardiac arrest on September 9th 2006.
She called me said she was having heart problems. I told her to call an ambulance. She didn't want to because Kaiser Permenente canceled her a year earlier and didn't want to spend the money on an ambulance for a false alarm. I told her I'd come over. I walked into her kitchen, she lurched up, from the arrest, smashed her face against her coffee table. It broke her nose and shattered her dentures which sliced up her mouth and throat. I cleared her air way out with my fingers and remved the plastic shards. I called 911, and performed CPR for 10 minutes. She died in my arms on the kitchen floor. After the ambulance left with her, I found my self trembling in front of a mirror with my hands and face covered in her blood. It was pretty rough. Sept 9th is a day that stands out for me. |

Its allgood, we all go out eventually, that was just a really hard way for her to go. I'm okay now, but it was pretty rough for a while. |

I would think so, anyone in your position would. I know "being there" is better for the person going, but it's horrible for the person being left behind. I watch my mother kill herself day by day with one of the unhealthiest lifestyles I've ever seen, so oddly enough, when she does go, I feel like I would probably be more prepared.

Okay my bad I brought the thread into a melancholy mood. I'm gonna go get something to eat and come back with a more cheerful attitude. Then we Rock! |
