ok guys, my beltronics vector 985 radar that I have had for roughly 8 years is finally dying on me. Anyone have any recommendations for a decent radar that isn't too expensive?

I thought I heard cobras are the best the cheapish. If you wanna drop some money and get something that really outclasses, get an escort passport or valentine one. I prefer escort.

thx frost...I'm not looking for too sophisticated, the bel served me well for 8 years, my only tickets were when I wasn't driving my own car, lol.

Tiesto is boring. Yeah, I said it.
No-- guy hasn't replied yet. I'm not sweating it-- I want them, but the world will keep turning if I don't get them. It would be perfect, though, as I already have the perfect size tires for them sitting in storage.

Followed an M3 on the way home tonight.....it looked lowered and had some really aggressive looking tires on it. Similar to what I have...that positive camber thang going on.....are M3's normally that aggressive looking from the start or was there a little modding going on there?
I know one thing...at the red light.....he didnt hesitate to show his muscle to me. Wait...let me rephrase that....show his horsepower....damn...."his muscle" just doesnt sound right after reading it again.

Look at their radar detectors. Looks like something from the 80s. Really, I don't think people would be dropping their knot over it if it didn't have arrows.
