Thought Of The Week (Casey Anthony)

If you don't pay your light bill for 31 days.. no power! If you don't pay your water bill for 31 days.. no water! If you don't return a movie you rented for 31 days.. you pay for that movie! If you dont pay a ticket for 31 days you go to jail. If you don't report your child missing for 31 days, what happens?? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

My wife literally watched the trial every free moment she had. I'm very disappointed in the fact that she did not get some kind of Neglect charge. I can see if they did not have enough evidence to prove beyond a resonable doubt for murder. But there was plenty of evidence to prove she was mistreating the child. Not reporting her missing for a month should be enough by itself to convict on some kind of neglect charge.

All I can say is....

I also agree she should have got some other charge but she has been in Jail 3~ years now. Also looks like they are not letting her out straight away.

If you want to be angry, direct it at our legal system. Casey Anthony, for better or worse, was found not guilty of murder by a jury of 12 peers. By law, that's that.

The media hype was kind of absurd, considering how many more worthy stories have been going on in the world all this time. The media and the public convicted her a long time ago, sadly. She probably would've been safer in prison, now she'll be free but she'll get beat up by some jackass who got hyped up watching ABC and really doesn't understand the case at all.

Who knows what the objective truth of the situation really was, but if a random jury found her not guilty, obviously the evidence for outright murder wasn't strong enough. Most likely it was a stupid accident followed by an even stupider coverup.

She will deff counter suit for defamation of character.

All I know is that I would love to be her lawyer right now.

For what? A lying slut.

Am I the only one that would bounce on top of her like she's a bouncy house?

There just was not enough evidence.

She was going to be charged, or was charged with that. But the DA, decide on murder charges instead.

Breaking News: "Casey Anthony places a call to 911 in fear of her life"... (Dispatcher) What is your emergency? Please help me, I have a bunch of people trying to kill me. Okay ma'am, calm down. What is your name? Casey Anthony. Okay Miss Anthony try to stay calm, an officer will be there in 31 days.…...

christian370z 07-14-2011 06:55 PM

This is a case of an incompetent prosecution failing to use the full breadth of evidence available to them, and failing to present the evidence they did use appropriately or effectively. Unfortunately, double jeopardy will be of great benefit to Anthony but she will never be able to live a normal life anywhere and will likely face civil suits in the future.

Brutal 370Z 07-15-2011 07:39 AM

prosecution was too greedy. Instead of going for gold and trying to get her convicted on murder, they should have gone for negligance instead....much better chance at this imo.
