The media hype was kind of absurd, considering how many more worthy stories have been going on in the world all this time. The media and the public convicted her a long time ago, sadly. She probably would've been safer in prison, now she'll be free but she'll get beat up by some jackass who got hyped up watching ABC and really doesn't understand the case at all.
Who knows what the objective truth of the situation really was, but if a random jury found her not guilty, obviously the evidence for outright murder wasn't strong enough. Most likely it was a stupid accident followed by an even stupider coverup. |
