Yeah I've had some like that too. To a large degree it just depends on the cop who spots you, but another big factor is how safely you're driving. A lot of cops are pretty pragmatic about coming down hard on guys who are recklessly weaving traffic, but letting off those that are speeding relatively safely on open stretches.

Agreed. In the trooper's defense; it was residential (country) & it was rainy. In my defense; I was travelling DOWNHILL when he clocked me.
