Forum Decal Installed - on my Accord!!
 

So I'm finally supporting the forum on a daily basis. :tup: Since the wife wouldn't let me sport the decal on the Z :shakes head:, I put it on my DD Accord.

Several people have already given me $h@# for it, and I haven't even driven the car since I put them on. Figured I could get some support in the forum at least.

Also, seems I need to add that the Z is my wife's DD. Her car, her rules. She lets me get away with a lot, so I don't need to push the issue of putting a couple of decals on the car (I should push for powdercoating the rims burnt orange with matching Texas logo center caps)

And a Big Thanks to Mike The Powdercoater for reinvigorating my interest in doing a color other than stock or black. I'll prolly go a little more subtle than bright orange, but on his black track Z it looks :tup:

Except that it's not MY car. The Z is HER car because SHE makes all the $$$. Hence it is my Project Weekend Mistress. I'm married and she's an accountant... she approves everything :roflpuke2:

The Accord was her DD prior to the Z and it used to have these god-awful visors on the doors and sunroof. She wouldn't let me take them off while it was her car, but I had them off within a week of buying the Z since it became my DD. I DO WHAT I WANT!

aftermarket rims? I'll just use the Z's spare tire as an upgrade to the stock Accord rims :roflpuke2:

10 bucks says someone on an Accord forum will take a pic and post a thread about this "poser" that he found.

swap our your ACCORD to FAIRLADY and HONDA to NISSAN emblems to finish off.

Case in point. I am happy you made it out alive.

At least its the 6spd Accord. Way more fun bone stock than any other Honda cept the S2000. Its already debadged other than the front and rear H emblems (and a UT logo). Be awesome to just finish it and redo everything Z like! Although I won't do that until the money is flowing out my ears which ain't happening anytime soon.

Where are these so-called Accord forums that you speak of? I have never encountered one. I have a service manual and I never wasted any money on mods for it.

My wife lasted a little over two years before she got bored with the Honda. Of course, the Honda is now my upgrade from a 2000 Sentra with 50K miles that drove like it had 300K :icon14: I can't complain.

I haven't looked, but I imagine that a thoughtfully crafted google search will uncover more than one, although it might take some effort to come up with the perfect search terms. Luckily for you, I have gone through the trouble and come up with a good search phrase for you: "accord forum." You're welcome.

Seriously though, car forums are useful for all types of cars, not just sports cars. I found all sorts of great info on the maxima forums.

Go Premium! There are many ways:

Be infected and then subsequently spread the forum herpes while enjoying it.
or
Bite down hard and get ready for the dry run.
or
Spam what you're currently wearing in every active thread on the forum nonstop for weeks on end.

But I found the easiest method was simply to pay the membership and PM AK which decal design you want :tup:
