Exclamation General Engine Question

on one of my cars, the belt tensioner pulley bearing is finished and so is my water pump.....both have an ugly noise when spinning.

the water pump is not a problem to change.

but the tensioner is iffy, could i just change the pulley or do i need a new tensioner assembly also. the assembly costs like 5 times more than a pulley wheel.

and thoughts on this??

thanks

Assuming that the pulley itself has the bearings on it, and just bolts to the tensioner arm, I would think just replacing the pulley would work fine.
