All different cars with different niches. I love the mustang until you have to figure which of the 10 in the parking lot is yours (go with the boss it's limited). Cayman will decently turn heads and usually someone who buys a porcshe takes care of it. How about an Audi TT Coupe. They look good and you can get awd.

It really depends on what you are after. To me, steering/road feel is very important and you are not going to get that from the STI or most anything AWD.
Probably of your list the Cayman would be the most interesting to me, although I've heard of crank issues with that motor and of course the maintenance costs would be outrageous compared to the Z. Then again, the Mustang would be worth a look/drive. |

Wow. Your list is all over the place in terms of car types. I can tell you that the Cayman will not fit any of your practical needs in place of the Z. 1 series Bimmers are interesting, but kinda on the low scale of things. I believe you would feel like you made an unnecessary compromise and even a bit cheated in fit/finish/maintence. The STi would be a worth-wild move, but you either love'em ore hate'em. My roomate had on back in 04 and it was pretty good, but felt strange from the driver's seat. I am not even going to speak on the 5.0.
If you need something more practical and you really liked the Z, go with a G37S or IPL (Same mods as 370Z NISMO compaired to 370Z BASE/Touring if you can find it). A little more money, but all of the practical stuff......luxury (if you are into that).......and a worth-wild performer. Plus you can get some interesting mods out there that make it look like a V.36. Just my

yeah I like the idea of the Sti but the new one just doesn't sit 100% with me yet in terms of size and performance. I love the power of the 5.0 but I would miss the tight handling of the Z. the 1 series is pretty much out of the question now so I guess I will probably go with the Cayman S.

you really need to go with the Porsche, I don't think you will be happy with anything else, unless you get another Z.
