I'm sorry, but I think I would own a PT Cruiser before a xB. They just aren't my thing, plus I take offense to most, but not all, of the drivers in them. Along with Hummers and anything else you can call a 'land yacht' or a 'tarmac tank.' I've been hunting around for a recent list I saw of ten most common cars in accidents and guess what? Scions and Hummers were up there. Yep.
I'm seriously thinking a used HHR when i need a beater "girly grocery getter." Feel free to judge me, I was a bit brutal, but I reserve my opinion as my own. EDIT: Sorry, not accidents, 10 most ticketed cars on the road, which to me says two thing: 1)targeted and 2) increased number of reckless drivers. article: http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com...aspx?GT1=33004 at least the Z isn't up there! You're welcome to your opinion about Scions epod86. People have refrained from making Mustang comments because most of us respect that others have different tastes even if we don't share them. BTW my response to you was in jest. Notice the . xB's are a love em' or hate em' car, and Scion owners are well aware of that and so is the Scion marketing team (Its kind of worked to their advantage).
I offend you because I'm on my way to buy groceries? I'll warn my fiancee. Last edited by BanningZ; 04-13-2009 at 02:07 AM. |

Everything always in jest I'm a newb when it comes to emotes, and i don't use them a whole lot. I know what's wrong with the pony, and it's not a great car, and I tend to hate other driver of it as well. I've always been a pedigree man, I think that the pedigree of a car should dictate how we respond to it on the road.
I have nothing against groceries (we all got to eat right?), or the car (it is still a toaster though) but the hoodlums in my area that drag on a 35mph roads (we have frontage roads for that crap) and blast music (this is one of my biggest car pet peeves). You of course may notice that I hate all cars/trucks/suvs/etc on the road save the select few. I mean, if I see a Morgan or a AC Shelby Cobra (theres that pedigree) I have to respect it, right? returning to a light-hearted note, anyone driven a fiat panda? The go-kart commercial reminded me. Got a chance this summer to tool around in one in Turin, bloody tiny car. Also banning, you on a AdultSwim kick or something? I do love robot chicken. (Try and take the above in as funny a tone as possible, I'm still memorizing all the happy emotes) |

I hope that's not her excuse. Not to sound cold, but welcome to the club. I'm too lazy to google it, but I bet somewhere between 35 and 50% of people know someone who has died of cancer, and they aren't wigging out.

my favorite part was the chick on channel 5 (not this fox coverage) describing her driving through the median..
"now she's spinning around.. I think they call that 'doing broadies'.. " She had to have teenage kids or she's a glamis whore.. not donuts.. broadies.. |
