Then there's another related line of research that looks at masculinized or feminized faces; fem'd female and male faces are generally considered more attractive; the masc'd faces (espe males) are viewed as ugly cavemen.

That said, there is also some evidence that women find maculine faces more appealing when they are fertile; the rest of the month they prefer pretty boys (i.e., fem'd male faces).

Moral: Pretty boys will get lucky more often, but tough guys will probably have more offspring. Go figure.

As to weight, it's mainly in America where everyone's a heffer...
