This is my Marley. They pulled her out a puppy mill raid. Wrapped a old tshirt around her during a thunderstorm to try to calm her down. When it was time to take it off she wasn't having any thing to do with it and my wife discovered she loves being dressed up. When I say love it she wedges herself in the back of her crate rather than have her clothes taken off. When that stupid thing on her head falls off she picks it up and brings it to you to put back on. On the plus side as a registered therapy dog putting clothes on her makes her more approachable, especially since people seem scared of her when she's not wearing a sweater or some thing.

This is Gizmo. I lost him 2 years ago but probably the coolest critter I've owned. He's a hairless Guinie Pig. Little guy used to ride along every where in the pocket of my hoodie. Would sit up, shake, come, and give kisses. Never thought I could get so attached to a rodent but I'm not gonna lie I broke down some thing fierce when he went.

Here's a shot of Stella, my Beagle, and Lucy, the Pit/? mix that I am fostering, that I took a few weeks ago. Yes, Lucy's ears look that bad. And she was a lot skinnier than what the pic makes it look like (but that is changing). Vet thinks she's 5-7 months old. I didn't get many details about her past but she's a Pit and the horrible ear cropping leads me to believe she was going to be used as a bait dog. Scheduled for spaying next month and then we'll see if we can't find her a good home. Other than the ears, she seems like a perfectly normal puppy - a BIG puppy.

In the post directly above yours. Here is an earlier post I made itt depicting him in his more adventurous youth:

Unfortunately, my wife was manning the camera and didn't get a photo of erstwhile brave cat nonchalantly slinking away after one of his targets displayed his wingspan.

This was a year or so earlier in another situation he had difficulty extracting himself from. There seems to be a life-long pattern here.

Ted chillin' in his gaming chair. he kept pushing my legs off the lazyboy when reclined so I had to get him his own chair for gaming sessions :icon17:

He's an outside/inside cat due to my cat allergy.

He roams through our yard and three (or more) neighbors' yards during the day and comes inside at night--when he wants to. Usually we can count on him staying out on cool nights when the moon is out. Hunting, I suppose. I'm sure he's taking advantage of one neighbor's lake. Thankfully, we've never seen him within 30 yards of a street.

He is there for tactical/moral support, he watches for the bad guys and lets me know. :icon17:

He actually likes it when I have Dogmeat as a follower in Fallout 4, he watches the screen and whines when the dog on tv starts barking or crying :icon17:

madwi 07-09-2016 03:36 PM

He is also a good guard dog for the Z. Searching for the chipmunk that flew under the Z.

Pretty active cat! I should adopt one, but I don't know if my Daschound will get along lol.

Sorry, I can't help you there. I've had both dogs and cats, but never both at the same time.

Our cat is slowing down some in his "golden" years, but as I was outside grilling yesterday, I did see him prancing uncharacteristically across the back yard. Upon closer inspection, I observed a mouse in his mouth.

I was pretty proud until I surmised that he had probably gotten the mouse from a neighbor's yard and trucked him back to our yard to display and enjoy :owned:
