anyone have LASIK?
Hey all. I'm 12 days post lasik, and here are my results:
left eye: 20/15 very clear right eye: 20/20 - and a bit blurry Anyone who has had lasik, and had similar results during this time frame, would you please comment? Did it resolve later? What was your experience? Thanks! |
I've put in my request and paperwork to get laser surgery through the Air Force, just waiting to hear back on the final acceptance/schedule a date. I don't know if it will be LASIK or PRK. I'm hoping for PRK myself lol
Glad to see you got back to 20/20 or better. From what I've been told so far, initial haze should clear up after a few days?? What was your 20/XXX prior to the surgery? |

I had PRK when i was in the AF...its gonna a good while till you vision is complete and back to normal...dont freak out...it took me months for the surgery induced astigmatism to go away...now everything is pretty sweet

I tried Lasik about 5 years ago and it didn't go well. When the Dr. cut the flap on the left (first) eye, it folded like an accordion. At that point they stopped the surgery. I have a permanent scar in my vision from the healed flap. Not a good experience for me, but I know many people that did just fine. Never again. Glad to hear you surgery went well.

Had Lasik done, more specifically, Custom Wavefront LASIK , 3 yrs ago. I was 20/60, now, I am better than 20/20. Last checkup, I was 20/15.. no issues with vision now.
Amazing results, probably one of the best investments for quality of life.. First month was tough with some blurriness, and some irritation when water goes in eyes, when taking showers, washing face,etc.. but it goes ways pretty fast, as your eyes adjust. I am very glad i got the procedure done. It's important to pick a good doctor, and get their advice during your consultation to make u qualify for the procedure. |
How was the procedure? Scary?
Can u guys tell me Honestly about the experience? I'm thinking of doing it ... |
It is scary at first but you'll be fine and the first month is a little rough with night time vision.I had mine done 15 years ago and the the doc said i would probably need reading glasses when i hit my 50's and he was right.....i still refuse to get them as i see really well as long as there is'nt flouresent lighting.
